Panax Ginseng is an ancient Oriental root primarily grown in China that has been recognized for centuries as having medicinal healing qualities. It is an important ingredient in our "Energy/Weight Loss Drink."Ginseng is derived from older Chinese words that mean "like a man" since the shape of the root resembles the human form. It takes some six years to grow and so diminishes the soil condition that it cannot be farmed for ten years after harvest.
